Taste of the Town, Nothing is Better than a Food Fundraiser
Nothing is better than a food fundraiser, especially when it's for a good cause.
It's Taste of the Town, a sampling of fine foods from local Crossroads restaurants to benefit Perpetual Help Home.
A little bit about Perpetual Help Home.
In 2020, Perpetual Help Home provided housing to 54 women and 16 children in our area. 100% of the women who stayed longer than two weeks ( 34 women) completed job training and out of those 2 enrolled in college, 3 worked through their GED's and 85 % obtained employment. Over $107,894.00 was earned by these residents in 2020. Perpetual Help Home changes lives.
You can read some of the amazing and often heart-wrenching success stories of some of these women right on the Perpetual Help Home website by clicking here.
On a personal note.
Over the years I've been fortunate enough to meet several of the women who have made giant leaps in their faith in God, themselves, and in their futures from Perpetual Help Home. I've even witnessed the change from a loved one who lived there for six months after recovery. It's an amazing place for incredible transformations for women who want to take back their lives.
