Imagine going out for a brisk morning walk on a Monday morning and seeing a huge alligator in your neighborhood.  This occurred in a Cinco Ranch neighborhood, just outside of Katy, Texas!  According to KHOU, Fort Bend County Deputies were called out the Grand Lakes area around 8 AM on Monday morning to reports of an alligator walking around. See the massive gator in the video below.

Deputies report the gator to be about 11 or 12 feet long. As of this morning, the gator has not approached anyone. Deputies said they tried scaring the gator back into the bayou but that it wouldn't budge, so they plan on getting a trapper next. Deputies remind everyone that if you see a gator out and about to give them space and respect, but also not to feed them since that makes them less afraid of humans. This is just one of many 'alligator' incidents in the Houston area this year.

Earlier this year, a Houston couple was returning home from vacation only to be greeted by an 8-foot alligator. The residents of the home were surprised by the appearance of the alligator when Tami Tanner, felt a slap from the alligator's tail.  As you can see in the picture below, the alligator looks extremely happy to be hanging out on their porch!
