[VIDEO] Roaming Katy Alligator Had To Be Removed Using a Tow Truck
Earlier this week a video went viral of a massive alligator roaming around a Katy neighborhood. Now video has surfaced on how it was removed from the Cinco Ranch neighborhood. A tow truck was used to get this alligator into the back of a truck! The gator was caught by licensed trappers from Texas Parks and Wildlife and is being taken to a sanctuary in El Campo, Texas. See the video of the dramatic rescue below.
Deputies remind everyone that if you see a gator out and about to give them space and respect, but also not to feed them since that makes them less afraid of humans. This is just one of many 'alligator' incidents in the Houston area this year.
PYTHON CAPTURED IN SAN ANTONIO DRIVEAWAY:
Last month, a man was walking his dog last week in a San Antonio neighborhood and saw something slithering around which prompted a call to the police. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a 10-foot python snake on the loose. According to Cibolo Animal Services, the snake is a reticulated python. The Cibolo Police Department then went to work to capture and secure a 10-foot python that was found under a vehicle in a San Antonio-area neighborhood.
