Massive Fire at Texas Chemical Plant, Residents Shelter in Place
Tuesday night around 10 pm, a massive fire engulfed a Wharton chemical plant. Wharton Police Department immediately issued a 'shelter in place and urged area residents to turn off their a/c units.

Fire trucks were seen rushing onto the scene to try and put off the enormous fire at the Prime Eco building #3. Those nearby witnessed the horrific fire. One witness caught the scary moments on video.
The video shows the chemical plant engulfed in flames. Suddenly you see something shoot up, then hear a 'boom.' Seconds later another big 'boom' is heard as fire shot up into the air.
UNKNOWN WHAT IS INSIDE BUILDING 3
The plant allegedly made hand sanitizer during Covid, however, it is unclear what all the building was used for. Fires continued to burn past midnight, however, no injuries have been announced.
