I'd imagine a person whose worth nearly 170 billion dollars would come home to a massive high-dollar mansion elegantly decorated with a yard large enough to land their private jet.

QUITE THE CONTRARY FOR THIS FAMOUS NEW TEXAN

The new cowboy in town Elon Musk moved to Texas after building the SpaceX launch site in Boca Chica, Texas. While it may not come as a surprise that Musk is nearby SpaceX, you may be surprised what he lives in.

Recently in a tweet, Musk admitted to living in an extremely modest home, in fact, so modest it's a box. Well, it's not your everyday average cardboard box, but a home made by the company Boxabl.

"My primary home is literally a ~$50k house in Boca Chica / Starbase that I rent from SpaceX. It’s kinda awesome though," he tweeted.

This unique 20x20 home, called 'Casita' is only about $50,000 and is assembled in a factory then shipped out and unfolded onto a piece of land.

How do you think the bank would respond if you request a $50,000 loan for a box?

Honestly, with the way the housing market is right now, a box sounds particularly fascinating. The Boxabl homes are highly affordable for the first-time home buyers however I will say, after watching an assembly line video for the company I was a little put-off by the foam they use as "the core of all the walls." I don't know how stable those foam walls would be in a category 3 Texas hurricane.

HOW A BILLIONAIRE SPENDS HIS MONEY

It's incredible to find out how modest the second richest man in the entire world spends his money. Aside from the tiny $50,000 home is another home, he hints might be sold in the future, "Only house I own is the events house in the Bay Area. If I sold it, the house would see less use, unless bought by a big family, which might happen some day."
