Scary Texas Woman Attacks Man With Hammer After Breakup

A domestic dispute turned horrifically violent when a woman snatched a hammer and rushed to attack her husband.

911 RECEIVES ALARMING CALL FROM MAN

Amber Marie Perez, 33, was taken into custody following an alarming call to 911, where a distressed man reported his wife threatening him with a hammer.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the argument between Perez and her husband began over a long-buried issue from six years ago. As tensions escalated, Perez allegedly brought out a hammer and began swinging it at her husband in a fit of rage when he announced he was leaving.

Though he managed to disarm her initially, Perez reportedly grabbed another hammer, continuing her assault.

HUSBAND CAPTURES FIT OF RAGE ON VIDEO

The scene grew more intense as the husband produced multiple videos for officers, showcasing Perez's destructive spree—smashing his belongings, swatting at his phone, and even directing the hammer toward him.

He also recounted being struck repeatedly by Perez’s fists. Officers observed visible injuries on the man's forearms, knee, and ribs, consistent with his account.

Perez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and family violence, however, she was released on a $30,000 bond.
