Baseball is Back: Generals Announce 2021 TCL Schedule

The Victoria Generals will have their first Intersquad matchup this Thursday with the season opener coming up July 3rd.

The Victoria Generals have 4 new players joining the team for their 12th season as part of the Texas Collegiate League.

Pitching was the key for the Victoria Generals, who edged the Acadiana Cane Cutters 2-1 yesterday. Stuart Springer notched the victory, going 6 full innings, while Brett Burrington wrapped up the game in the final 3. Springer threw 5 shutout innings giving up just 3 hits, but in the 6th, it was errors that allowed the Cane Cutters their only run.

Baseball is in the air! The UHV Jaguars have been at it , Major League Baseball is just 2 weeks away and, the Victoria Generals are gearing up for the 2015 campaign that starts in May. Now the Generals are making moves to help them in another run for the Texas collegiate league Championship with the addition of 5 former players from around the Lone Star State.

News Release... 2/3/15---As the 2015 Texas Collegiate League season draws near, the Victoria Generals continue to add players that will help them on their quest for another league championship.  This week, the Generals have announced the addition of four players from The University of Texas at San Antonio. The Victoria Generals were in the League Championship Series, and even though they came up short for the 2nd year in a row, 6 players received the honor of being named to the All-Texas Collegiate League team, the most of any team.

The Victoria Generals losing streak continues, as the team fell to the Acadiana Cane Cutters last night 4-2. Kaleb Keith was the starting pitcher for the Generals, lasting 7 innings, while giving up 4 runs and striking out 2 batters.

The Victoria Generals left Lafayette, LA with a 6-3 win over the Acadiana Cane Cutters last night, making it a split for the series. Strong pitching by Armando Arevalo paved the way for the win, going 7 innings while giving up 2 runs and striking out 3 batters. Offensively, Justin Pachhioli led the way with a 3-4 performance scoring 2 runs with 1 RBI.
