The Victoria Generals left Lafayette, LA with a 6-3 win over the Acadiana Cane Cutters last night, making it a split for the series.

Strong pitching by Armando Arevalo paved the way for the win, going 7 innings while giving up 2 runs and striking out 3 batters. Offensively, Justin Pachhioli led the way with a 3-4 performance scoring 2 runs with 1 RBI. 

The Generals are now in 2nd place in the Texas Collegiate League standings with a record of 31-15, while the Brazos Valley Bombers lead the way at 31-11.

Tonight the Generals are back home at riverside Stadium to take on the Woodlands Strykers. It's Victoria Harley Davidson Bike Night at the ballpark, and fans who ride their bike to the game will receive a FREE General Admission ticket and have the opportunity to take it on the field for a pregame lap.
